HAECO Xiamen redelivers converted freighter

In August, HAECO Hong Kong and Royal Brunei Airlines entered into a General Terms Agreement (GTA) for the provision of airframe maintenance services. Since then, HAECO Hong Kong has completed its first C-check on one of the airline’s Boeing 787-8 aircraft.

In October, HAECO Xiamen redelivered its first Boeing 757-200 passenger-to-freighter conversion to China Postal Airlines. The aircraft is HAECO Group’s 129^th passenger-to-freighter conversion and the 12^th Boeing 757-200 freighter conversion completed by HAECO Xiamen.

New team enhances competitiveness

In October, HAECO Cabin Solutions announced that Wingo, a new Colombian low-cost carrier, will be the first Latin American customer for the Vector^TM single-aisle economy class seat.

HAECO Component Services has recently established a new team: “Group Component Services Commercial” brings together its supply chain management and commercial procurement functions within HAECO Group’s Inventory Technical Management (ITM) and Component Repair and Overhaul (CRO) business units.

Supporting sight-saving mission

On 13 November, Cathay Pacific pilot Captain Hank Cheng, who created Hong Kong’s first homebuilt and locally registered aircraft “Inspiration”, completed his 78-day round-the-world journey, with Hong Kong as the starting and ending destination.

To celebrate the launch of its third-generation Flying Eye Hospital, Orbis offered guided tours of the new MD-10 aircraft from 27 September to 2 October, as part of an inaugural tour in Hong Kong.
