Base Maintenance
Another milestone in service capability

In April, HAECO Hong Kong completed pre-service maintenance on a newly delivered Boeing 777-300ER aircraft of Cathay Pacific Airways; it is the airline’s 50th Boeing 777-300ER, a major milestone of the airline. Cathay Pacific is one of the world’s largest Boeing 777 operators, with a strong fleet of 69, which in addition to this milestone aircraft, includes another 51 Boeing 777-300ERs, 12 Boeing 777-300s and five Boeing 777-200s.

The HAECO Group has been providing engineering support for the Boeing 777 since 1997. Over the years, HAECO has developed extensive maintenance capabilities and experience on the aircraft type. To date, HAECO Airframe Services has provided maintenance checks, (including C-Check or above), to around 200 Boeing 777 aircraft for various airline customers at its MRO facilities in Hong Kong and Xiamen; its Engine Services arm offers world-class repair and overhaul services to the GE Aviation GE90 and Rolls-Royce Trent 800 engines that power the aircraft type. To meet airline customers’ component overhaul needs for Boeing 777, HAECO Spirit AeroSystems in Jinjiang has a proven track record in the repair and overhaul of GE90 and Trent 800 nacelles and thrust reversers, while HAECO Landing Gear Services’ dedicated facility in Xiamen provides in-house repair and overhaul for its landing gear.

Comprehensive capabilities and extensive experience in servicing the Boeing 777 fleet have made HAECO Group the MRO of choice for many airlines operating this aircraft type.
