On 14 and 15 November, HAECO Group took part in the annual Pedal Kart event held in Victoria Park in Hong Kong. This year, four karts represented the HAECO Group in the event, including a women’s team for the first time in recent years. The HAECO pedallers from both Hong Kong and Xiamen demonstrated great teamwork, winning second place overall, as well as the Aviation Cup and the Men’s Fastest Lap and Women’s Fastest Lap.
Organised by Round Table Hong Kong, the Pedal Kart event aims to raise funds for local and regional charities. In order to boost donations, HAECO Hong Kong and a local bicycle shop joined hands to organise a charity sale of bicycle accessories donated by the shop. Thanks to our generous staff and business partners, HAECO Group raised around HK$110,000 for charity.
