In March, HAECO Group participated in the 113th International Airlines Technical Pool (IATP) conference in Hong Kong. HAECO was the major sponsor of the event, providing logistics support and financial sponsorship to the five-day conference. The event provided a great opportunity for HAECO Line Services and Component Services representatives from HAECO Americas, Xiamen and Hong Kong to meet with airline customers. At present, over 60 IATP airline members are HAECO customers. HAECO Group Director Airframe Services, James Barrington, welcomed the guests at the opening of the conference and provided them with an introduction to the Group’s wide range of services and capabilities. A highlight of the conference was the Gala Dinner, during which HAECO Group Director Components and Engine Services, Greg Hughes, presided over a lucky draw.
IATP is a convention of airlines sharing technical resources to generate economic savings and support on-time dispatch reliability, as well as operational safety. More than 400 attendees from around the world attended the event; the next IATP conference will be held in Okinawa in October.
