Base Maintenance
Another first on the Boeing 777

In May, HAECO Hong Kong completed its first two-class cabin reconfiguration on a United Airlines Boeing 777-222 aircraft; the major refurbishment was carried out in conjunction with a C4 maintenance check. Work scope included upgrading of business class seats and the installation of new economy class seats. The new economy class seats are equipped with in-seat power sockets and tablet holders. Other improvements included a new coat closet and cabin class dividers, and the enhancements will increase comfort levels for passengers, as well as helping to reduce the overall weight of the aircraft.

HAECO Hong Kong has been working closely with United Airlines and its suppliers to ensure on-time redelivery and high quality workmanship, and the successful completion of this input marks another milestone in HAECO’s well-established partnership with the airline.
