Extended support for JAL

Japan Airlines (JAL) has appointed HAECO to provide full Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) support for its flights to Hong Kong. To celebrate this new milestone, JAL hosted a ceremony at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) on 6 October 2020.

HAECO Hong Kong and JAL have enjoyed a close business relationship over the years, with HAECO Line Services already providing mechanic assistance, defect rectification, ramp equipment services and cleaning services to the airline. To advance their shared safety-first principles, representatives from both companies also attend regular meetings chaired by JAL to review the latest industry best practices on ramp safety and exchange ideas for strengthening the safety culture amongst airport community stakeholders.

HAECO is delighted to extend its scope of services to provide dedicated CRS support for the JAL fleet, which includes Boeing 767, 777 and 787 aircraft.

CRS is a statement signed by a licensed aircraft engineer with appropriate certifying approvals, which asserts that the aircraft is airworthy to the degree appropriate for safe flight.
