In April, HAECO Hong Kong completed pre-service maintenance on a newly delivered Boeing 777-300ER aircraft of Cathay Pacific Airways; it is the airline’s 50th Boeing 777-300ER, a major milestone of the airline. Cathay Pacific is one of the world’s largest Boeing 777 operators, with a strong fleet of 69, which in addition to this milestone aircraft, includes another 51 Boeing 777-300ERs, 12 Boeing 777-300s and five Boeing 777-200s.
The HAECO Group has been providing engineering support for the Boeing 777 since 1997. Over the years, HAECO has developed extensive maintenance capabilities and experience on the aircraft type. To meet airline customers’ component overhaul needs for Boeing 777, HAECO Spirit AeroSystems in Jinjiang has a proven track record in the repair and overhaul of GE90 and Trent 800 nacelles and thrust reversers, while HAECO Landing Gear Services’ dedicated facility in Xiamen provides in-house repair and overhaul for its landing gear.
