In August, HAECO Xiamen completed its first C-Check on a Cathay Pacific Airways Boeing 747-8F aircraft – “Queen of the Skies”.
Since it was the first time HAECO Xiamen had carried out a maintenance check on this aircraft type, the company’s engineers first underwent technical training at HAECO Hong Kong, to ensure smooth execution of the work. Experienced technicians from HAECO Hong Kong also provided on-site support during the maintenance process. With detailed planning, precise execution and stringent quality control, the maintenance check was completed smoothly and ahead of schedule, earning the appreciation of the customer. HAECO Xiamen is now well-prepared to serve many more operators of this aircraft type.
The input represents another “first” for the Cathay Pacific / HAECO business partnership. Cathay Pacific was the first carrier to bring Boeing 747-400s, Boeing 747 Converted Freighters, Boeing 777s, Airbus A320s, A330s and A340s, and now the latest Boeing 747-8 to HAECO Xiamen for maintenance.
