Riding on its success in obtaining Nadcap accreditation for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), heat treatment and chemical processing in 2014, Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited (HAESL) has made further progress in its Nadcap journey by gaining new accreditation for surface enhancement in September; HAESL is the first MRO within the Rolls-Royce global network to gain this accreditation.
HAESL has also gained re-accreditation for NDT. As a result of a good performance at audit, with no non-compliances, HAESL has been allowed to extend its accreditation period for NDT from 12 months to 18 months under Nadcap’s Supplier Merit Programme.
This achievement is another example of HAESL’s commitment to pursuing operational excellence. Going forward, HAESL aims to obtain Nadcap accreditation for metal spraying and welding processes.
