In December, STAECO entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with the Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute (SADRI) for the development of a research and development (R&D) base for civil aircraft maintenance.
A ceremony to launch the partnership was held at the STAECO facility, hosted by Deputy General Manager Yang Guangyao, who was joined by officials from both parties, including Mr Li Kai, Vice President of SADRI and STAECO General Manager Wang Chao. The signing ceremony followed speeches by senior management and an in-depth discussion on various aspects of future cooperation, including technical research and development, as well as talent management, was held prior to the event.
The establishment of the first SADRI R&D base marks the start of an exciting new chapter and looking ahead, the institution will play a crucial role in promoting the development of the aviation industry in Mainland China.
