Technical Training
Training partnership for overseas students

In April, HAECO Xiamen and Xiamen City University welcomed a group of overseas students to their jointly organised, EASA-approved, two-year Aircraft Maintenance Basic Training Programme (Category B1.1).

HAECO’s technical training facility in Xiamen has established a solid track record in providing aircraft maintenance training to its own trainees and to third parties over many years and this is the fourth batch of overseas students to join this programme since the MRO began its collaboration with Xiamen City University in June 2015.

With plans to receive 60 more students in three batches during 2016, HAECO Xiamen and Xiamen City University hope to recruit more students from Southeast Asian countries such as Malaysia and Thailand. The training partnership will offer its students dual certification in the form of a diploma certificate from Xiamen City University and EASA Part-147 recognition from HAECO Xiamen, and this dual recognition is expected to help students play a more significant role in the aircraft maintenance field in their future careers.
