In June, HAECO Hong Kong and HAECO Americas completed cabin modifications on a total of 18 Boeing 777 aircraft for Air Canada. The inputs were part of Air Canada’s “777 Dream Cabin” programme, awarded to HAECO Cabin Solutions in March 2015, under which HAECO Group’s Hong Kong and Greensboro, NC facilities were responsible for performing extensive cabin work on the airline’s Boeing 777-200 and -300 fleets respectively. The work scope for this extensive project included complete design engineering, certification and installation of new aircraft interiors, using HAECO Cabin Solution products including partition walls, seats lavatory units, flooring, as well as IFE in all cabins. Close collaboration between the two MRO facilities contributed to the successful completion and on-time redelivery of the aircraft, meeting the tight schedule and quality requirements entirely to the customer’s satisfaction.
