On 30 May, HAECO Xiamen celebrated its 200th aircraft redelivery to long-standing customer, Japan Airlines (JAL), with the successful completion of a 6C-Check on a JAL Boeing 767 aircraft. A ceremony to mark the occasion was held at HAECO Xiamen, with guests including Mr Yuji Akasaka, President of JAL Engineering, Augustus Tang, CEO of HAECO Group, and Summit Chan, CEO of HAECO Xiamen.
The relationship between the two companies dates back to 1997, when HAECO Xiamen redelivered the first JAL aircraft input - a Boeing 747-200 (JA8105) - to the airline. Since then, the two companies have fostered a close partnership in the provision of airframe services, with HAECO Xiamen supporting JAL’s wide array of aircraft types, as well as the airline’s “Sky Suite” cabin modification programme and other projects. HAECO Xiamen’s technical expertise and quality workmanship have ensured this enduring partnership has continued to go from strength to strength.
