On 12 and 13 November, HAECO Group took part in the Pedal Kart event held at Victoria Park in Hong Kong – an annual event organised by Round Table Hong Kong to raise funds for local and regional charities.
This year, the HAECO team comprised a four-strong fleet, with pedallers from both HAECO Hong Kong and HAECO Xiamen. HAECO was also sponsored for the first time by a local bicycle company, which provided us with SRAM bicycle parts, enhancing the performance of our karts. Despite intense competition, the HAECO pedallers demonstrated great teamwork and finished the event with flying colours. The men’s team won the overall champion of the race title, and first place in three other categories including Kart Class Trophy Formula 1, “Engine” Trophy as well as the Industry Sector Trophy. Thanks to our generous staff and business partners, the HAECO Group raised some HK$120,000 for charity - breaking the record amount achieved last year.
