This summer, HAECO Xiamen has collaborated with Xiamen Huli District Education Bureau to launch the first “HAECO Xiamen Soccer Summer Camp” for 24 expatriate workers’ children from a local primary school. The five-day camp not only gave the students the opportunity to learn basic soccer skills from two professional coaches, but also provided the chance to practise spoken English during training.
The camp has enriched the students’ learning experience and was thoroughly enjoyed by all participants. HAECO Xiamen and Xiamen Huli District Education Bureau will be organising soccer camps in the coming winter and summer holidays, and will also be exploring the possibility of providing additional sports training for more expatriate workers’ children.
