On 16 November 2016, STAECO entered into a cooperation agreement with The Boeing Company (Boeing). Under the agreement, STAECO will become one of the designated service providers licensed to perform Boeing 737NG PTF conversions, converting Boeing 737-800 aircraft into the new generation Boeing 737-800BCF.
Attending the signing ceremony were Mr Zhang Haibo, Deputy Mayor of Jinan City, Mr Sun Xiongjiang, Chairman of Shandong Airlines, Mr John Bruns, President of Boeing China, and Huang Enfang, Chairman of STAECO. The agreement was signed by Boeing’s Vice President of Freighter Conversions, Mr Kurt Kraft, and STAECO’s General Manager, Wang Chao.
