HAESL has recently donated a low-pressure compressor fan blade assembly to the Aviation Services Research Centre (ASRC), co-founded by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and The Boeing Company (Boeing). HAESL’s contribution was acknowledged at the opening ceremony for the new 1,500-square-metre facility, held on 26 September at PolyU.
The ceremony was well attended by guests from the aviation and MRO industry, including Mr Dennis Floyd, Vice President of Strategy, Boeing Global Services, Augustus Tang, CEO of HAECO Group, and Angus Barclay, Director and General Manager of HAESL. At the ceremony, Boeing also committed to another five years of collaboration with the ASRC. The extended collaboration between Boeing and the ASRC, as well as the new facility, bring MRO technological development in Hong Kong to a new level of excellence.
