On 27 April, a Hebei Airlines Embraer ERJ190 aircraft left Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport, after undergoing a 3C-check by STAECO. The STAECO team also carried out a number of modifications on the aircraft, in conjunction with the scheduled check. A satellite communication system was installed – a world’s first on this aircraft type – as well as a 3G wireless Quick Access Recorder (QAR) and a Quick Access Cockpit Voice Recorder (QACVR). Other work included Low Oil Pressure Switch (LOPS) modification, installation of reinforced brackets on the double aircraft seats and landing gear installation pin check. The STAECO team’s professional attitude, meticulous attention to detail, and high-quality workmanship all earned praise from Embraer’s engineers.
