HAESL took part in the annual Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Career Expo, which was jointly organised by the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) and the Labour Department of the HKSAR Government over the weekend of 29 June - 1 July 2018.
The HAESL booth, with a Trent 700 engine fan blade on display, attracted a lot of attention from visitors and also featured engine modules and 3D-printed mini aero-engine puzzles designed to demonstrate the breadth of high-tech engine and component repair work that HAESL provides to various aircraft types. A career talk was also organised to provide job seekers with an in-depth introduction to the company and the career opportunities available in HAESL.
The three-day event attracted some 500 visitors to the HAESL booth, including officiating guests Dr Law Chi-kwong, Secretary for Labour and Welfare; Dr Raymond So, Under Secretary for Transport and Housing, and Mr Fred Lam, Chief Executive Officer of the Airport Authority Hong Kong.
