In March, HAECO signed the Racial Diversity and Inclusion Charter for Employers initiated by the Equal Opportunities Commission to promote racial diversity and inclusion of minorities in the workplace. Launched in 2018, the Charter encourages signatory companies to put in place measures and policies to ensure fair recruitment and appointments and an inclusive culture, to help staff of different racial backgrounds integrate into the mainstream work environment, so that they feel safe and respected.
