On 16 November, HAECO held a ceremony at its Hangar Three facility to celebrate its historic 70th year of operation in Hong Kong. Mr Merlin Swire, Chairman of HAECO and Swire Pacific Limited, was Guest of Honour at the ceremony. A plaque unveiling ceremony was officiated by Mr Swire and Mr Frank Walschot, Chief Executive Officer of HAECO.
Speaking at the event, Mr Swire highlighted HAECO’s tremendous achievements over the past seven decades, its strength in overcoming numerous challenges and its commitment to passing on experience and skills to Hong Kong’s younger generation through its training programmes. He said the loyalty and passion of HAECO’s long-serving staff members have helped contribute to the company’s success.
Over 200 current and former HAECO staff attended the event, which also included a long-service award presentation ceremony.
