On 23 January, Taikoo Engine Services (Xiamen) Co. Ltd. (TEXL) held a Chinese New Year dinner to celebrate the Year of the Ox and mark the completion of its 700th GE90 engine overhaul.
In a speech to guests, Marek Wernicke, the then Director and General Manager of TEXL, highlighted the company’s goals in 2021. He said that TEXL is committed to delivering quality services to customers, while upholding the highest safety standards. The company will continue to develop new capabilities and invest in the sustainable development of its business.
Despite the challenging industry environment in 2020, TEXL has successfully introduced 34 new component repair schemes that aim to improve maintenance turnaround times. The company has also renovated its workshops, upgraded the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and implemented a series of new measures to ensure the health and safety of its employees.
