New C Check programme

In December last year, HAECO Xiamen announced a new contract from Lufthansa German Airlines to carry out C checks on the airline’s seven Boeing 747-400 and eight 747-8 aircraft. The C check programme is expected to be completed by March 2024.

“We are very happy to continue our close cooperation with HAECO,” said Thomas Spriesterbach, Vice President TFM Lufthansa German Airlines. “We have full trust in HAECO’s ability to maintain our aircraft to the highest standards, with guaranteed on-time delivery to support the airline’s operations."

HAECO has been providing base maintenance to the Lufthansa Group’s two international carriers, SWISS International Airlines and Lufthansa German Airlines, for a number of years, ensuring their fleets’ safety, quality, reliability and availability.
