Youth development is key to building future leaders of tomorrow and in support of this, HAECO Americas sponsored the three-day HAECO Invitational Basketball Tournament, organised by the Greensboro Sports Council, where high school teams battled on court for the boys' and girls' championship titles. This event not only incorporated sports and corporate social responsibility, but also provided valuable opportunities for students to learn more about HAECO and explore different career opportunities in the aviation industry.
Ticket sales and fund-raising proceeds from the tournament were donated to the participating schools and Hands for Hearts, a non-profit organisation in North Carolina that supports children and families affected by congenital heart defects.
