Diversity initiatives honoured

HAECO is committed to nurturing individuals regardless of their age, gender and ethnicity, and building an inclusive workplace for our employees. The Group’s diversity and inclusion initiatives have led to HAECO being named as a Diversity Champion at the 2022 Talent Awards, organised by LinkedIn Talent Solutions.

The annual event recognises companies shaping the future of the workplace by demonstrating adaptability, innovation, and creativity. The Diversity Champion is one of the six award categories, highlighting companies and their employees who have initiated meaningful conversations around Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Equity.

“Our ambition is to become the D&I Leader in the MRO industry,” said Ally Jiang, Group General Manager, Talent and Culture. “This accolade is an important milestone in our D&I journey. We will continue to strive towards creating an inclusive culture, to bring out the best in each and every one of us at HAECO Group,”

Taking D&I efforts to the next level, HAECO CrossGen Allies was established in December 2022. The Allies aim to bridge the gap between different age groups, providing a communication channel for knowledge exchange and cross-generational conversation, and building a diverse and inclusive work environment which is age-neutral.

Catherine Chan, chairperson of the HAECO CrossGen Allies said: “HAECO CrossGen will bring diverse talent together, allowing all generations of staff equal opportunities to have their voices heard, pivoting on their capability, needs and priorities, and eventually creating an inclusive and equitable work environment across the HAECO Group.”
