Extended capability on A320 heat exchanger

In January, HAECO Component Overhaul’s repair capabilities were extended to cover the Airbus A320 heat exchanger. The new capability enhances HAECO’s market competitiveness and shortens turnaround times for repairs. Qualification to carry out the repair was done by Liebherr-Aerospace, the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the heat exchanger, and Lynnetta Lim, Head of Regional Sales for Liebherr – Singapore Pte Ltd, presented a certificate to mark the occasion.

“We are pleased to have HAECO join our network of partners for Cleaning, Testing and Repair of the A320 Heat Exchangers. We look forward to the collaborative support for airline operators in the region.”, commented Joël Cadaux, Director Business & Services – Customer Services, Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS.

Bobo Ko, General Manager of HAECO Component Overhaul, said: “We are delighted to have the new capability on the heat exchangers. We are now able to offer our customers more support and will continue to invest and develop new capabilities.”

HAECO Component Overhaul was founded in the 1960s and extended its footprint in 2013, establishing HAECO Component Overhaul (Xiamen) Limited. Both facilities operate with approvals from the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, the Federal Aviation Administration, Japan Civil Aviation Bureau and the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department.
