The HAECO Hong Kong Annual Dinner 2023 was back after a four-year hiatus, and it was everything everyone had hoped for and more. This long-standing tradition celebrates the company's past achievements and looks ahead to the future, making it one of the most anticipated events of the year for employees, customers, and stakeholders to come together, network, and acknowledge each other's hard work and dedication.
On 30 June 2023, the annual dinner was hosted at the AsiaWorld-Expo, with approximately 1900 guests in attendance. The evening's theme, "HAECO Ahead," emphasised the company's commitment to collaboration and teamwork, and the strong bonds that unite everyone in the HAECO family, making it a more resilient organization.
The evening kicked off with a cocktail reception where the management team mingled with customers and partners, building stronger relationships and creating a sense of community. Colleagues enjoyed a variety of activities like mahjong, photo-taking, henna, and games before dinner. The night was filled with entertainment, including live music, magic acts, and singing performances. Attendees also had a chance to win over 200 exciting prizes in a lucky draw. As a memento of the event, all employees received an exclusive HAECO model van.
Speaking at the event, Benjamin Scheidel, Chief Executive Officer of HAECO Hong Kong, expressed his gratitude for the hard work and dedication of his team: "Our aircraft technicians are doing an exceptional job on the frontline, working tirelessly in all weather conditions to keep the base maintenance and airport running smoothly and safely for the airlines, passengers, and their families. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to them and the organising committee for making this event a resounding success."
