Hospital shop quick-turn capability

HAECO Global Engine Support has recently added a new eight-bay gantry system at its Dallas facility. This new development coincides with the addition of new LEAP-1A/1B tooling to support its expert technicians performing hospital maintenance work on new generation, fuel-efficient LEAP engines.

The investment means HAECO Global Engine Support Dallas is now equipped to perform quick-turn maintenance tasks ranging from top and bottom case repairs to replacements of the radial drive shaft on both LEAP engine models, with the eight-bay gantry system providing 12-plus hospital maintenance bays for LEAP, as well as CFM 56, Pratt & Whitney, and Rolls-Royce engines.

“HAECO’s investment in Dallas is paramount to assisting our customers to keep their engines turning,” said Jim Clarke, Executive Vice President and General Manager of HAECO Global Engine Support Dallas. “We are committed to providing solutions to our wide variety of consumers.”

With a global network of EASA and FAA-approved engine hospital shops in Hong Kong, Amsterdam, London, and Dallas, HAECO Global Engine Support is equipped to serve airline customers operating all major engine types, and its engineers are on 24/7 standby to provide on-wing engine support around the world.
