HAECO harnesses solar power for sustainable aviation

HAECO is proud to introduce its state-of-the-art Solar Photovoltaic Systems at the composite services facility in Jinjiang and the landing gear services facility in Xiamen. These advanced solar panels feature efficient photovoltaic cells, generating 1.6 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually at the composite services facility and reducing carbon emissions by an estimated 1,032 tonnes per year. Similarly, the landing gear services facility generates approximately 0.69 million kilowatt-hours of renewable energy, reducing around 426 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.

Sunny Mirchandani, General Manager of HAECO Composite Services, described the completion of the Solar PV Project as a momentous milestone towards sustainable development. Susan Su Chao, Director and General Manager of HAECO Landing Services, emphasized the company's commitment to sustainability and reducing carbon emissions.

HAECO Group's dedication to sustainability extends beyond these facilities, as HAECO Hong Kong, HAECO Xiamen, and HAECO Engine Services (Xiamen) have also embraced solar panels. Together, these efforts contribute to a greener future for the aviation industry.
