HAECO was pleased to have the opportunity to showcase its MRO expertise at the Swire China Conference in Shanghai this October. Under the theme "Redefining Excellence: The Future of Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul", we introduced other Swire Group companies – such as Swire Coca-Cola, Swire Properties, Swire Shipping and Cathay Pacific – to the exciting world of MRO and our latest technological applications.
Over 200 people attended the conference to learn about the capabilities of HAECO and its peers under Swire Group. In addition to showcasing our core service areas including Airframe, Engine and Components, our booth also featured thrilling life-size displays of a GE90 engine fan blade, B767 landing gear and manufactured parts, keeping visitors engaged while encouraging them to explore our all-round capabilities.
To underline our efforts to enhance operational efficiency by embracing new technologies, a section of our booth was dedicated to Digital Products and Technology initiatives like Augmented Reality (AR) and drones. Besides, HAECO also unveiled its ambitious plans to build the world’s largest single-span aircraft maintenance facility in Xiamen Xiang'an International Airport to booth visitors at the conference.
