As part of an industry that is under constant scrutiny for its environmental impact, HAECO makes continuous efforts to minimise our carbon footprint, both for the sustainability of the industry and to achieve more synergies with partners and suppliers who are committed to sustainability.
Earlier this year, HAECO proudly received the ‘National Green Factory’ certificate (国家级“绿色工厂”称号) from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, testifying to our environmental-friendly practices and proactive stance in setting new industry benchmarks. The certificate was awarded to our Xiamen operations based on a series of assessments including our construction and production processes, management systems, energy efficiency, anti-pollution measures, and other criteria.
Guided by our 2030 Sustainable Development Strategy, HAECO is committed to consistently enhancing our supply chain management and digitalisation efforts to scale up our sustainability performance across our global operations. Achieving this high-level recognition from the Chinese Government will provide a strong foundation in bringing more partners on board as we continue to accelerate our green transition.
