In light of our longstanding, close collaboration and shared company values with Cathay Pacific, we were delighted to join hands with our customer in organizing a special all-women crew flight to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8, 2024.
With the support of HAECO, the CX840 flight departed from Hong Kong to New York (JFK) at 4:20 PM, featuring an all-female MRO crew encompassing ramp services and ramp equipment staff, experienced mechanics and engineers, and even the pushback tractor driver for the A350 aircraft. Cathay Pacific's in- flight crew, consisting of female pilots and flight attendants, proudly took up their respective positions, determined to provide passengers with a one-of-a-kind flight experience.
We were thrilled to be part of Cathay Pacific's special initiative on International Women's Day, as it allowed us to celebrate the diverse women workforce at HAECO. From engineers, technicians, administrators, and customer service representatives to project managers and executives, HAECO recognizes and values the unique perspectives and skills of each female employee, which contribute to our strength and versatility as an organization.
