On 24 April, HAECO celebrated Earth Day with different initiatives to foster sustainable practices and environmental consciousness among our colleagues across the globe.
In Hong Kong, we promoted the use of reusable containers by offering free salads and partnered with a social enterprise to educate our colleagues on organic farming and vegetarianism. Participants in our lunch learning session each received a seedling to encourage farm-to-table practices.
In the Americas, stickers were placed beside light switches, temperature controls, and water dispensing units to remind colleagues of energy and water conservation. Each employee received a packet of wildflower seeds to inspire eco-consciousness through home gardening.
HAECO stands by the power of collective action in environmental stewardship. Even small actions count as we aim to protect our planet by inspiring a greener lifestyle.
