In early 2024, a non-operating Cathay Pacific aircraft parked in Sapporo, Japan was unfortunately damaged by another operator’s aircraft during pushback from the gate. The tail cone section of the aircraft required replacement due to the damage.
Acknowledging the complexity of the repair, HAECO Composite Services quickly mobilised its engineering expertise to devise a tailored solution, delivering a fully overhauled replacement tail cone segment within the required timeframe.
Upon receiving EASA approval in April, we successfully delivered the replacement tail cone segment to Cathay Pacific in Sapporo. This enabled our customer to efficiently complete the repair and return the aircraft safely to service.
This achievement not only strengthened our longstanding partnership with Cathay Pacific, but underscores HAECO’s unwavering commitment to meeting our customers’ operational needs with the highest standards of safety and reliability.
