On 3 March, we gathered to celebrate the graduation of 50 HAECO trainee graduates from our aircraft maintenance training programmes in Hong Kong. Family and friends joined us in this joyous occasion, which was attended by senior representatives from HAECO Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and the Vocational Training Council.
The graduates successfully completed either the Aircraft Maintenance Mechanics Trainee Scheme (AMMT) or the Aircraft Engineering Licence Trainee Scheme (AELT). These programmes, lasting one year and 42 months respectively, have equipped them with the skills needed to kickstart their careers in aircraft maintenance and related fields at HAECO.
The event began with an inspiring speech from Peter Murton, CEO of HAECO Hong Kong, setting a positive tone for the ceremony: “As you step into your new roles, remember that you are the future of our company. Your fresh perspectives and innovative ideas will drive us forward and help us continue to set new standards of excellence.” A special highlight was the recognition of eight outstanding trainees, who received the golden “Fing Fing”—a unique screwdriver designed by a long serving mechanic in HAECO Hong Kong —for their exceptional performance and skills.
We are excited for our graduates as they begin their rewarding journeys in the aviation industry and wish them a bright and successful future!
