Enhancing safety practices with Safety and Health Day

As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering a safe, healthy, and supportive workplace, the Wellbeing Committee and Compliance team in London from HAECO Global Engine Services successfully hosted a Health and Safety at Work Day this April. The event was designed to actively engage staff in recognizing and managing workplace risks while reinforcing our collective responsibility for health, safety, and compliance.

Featuring an interactive workshop, our colleagues participated in staged scenarios to identify potential hazards and discuss appropriate mitigation strategies. These hands-on sessions encouraged practical learning and real-time problem-solving. In addition to the workshops, teams took part in facilitated group discussions focused on key HSE topics, including regulatory compliance, incident prevention, and the importance of cultivating a proactive safety mindset. The day concluded with an educational quiz, testing participants’ knowledge of workplace safety practices in a fun and collaborative way.

This initiative reflects our dedication to embedding health and safety into the fabric of our workplace culture. By empowering employees with knowledge and encouraging open dialogue, we continue to build an environment where everyone feels responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy workspace.
