Vanilla Air, the Japanese low-cost carrier based at Narita International Airport, has chosen HAECO Hong Kong as its line services provider at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). On 2 November, HAECO Hong Kong welcomed the airline’s inaugural flight to HKIA.

Vanilla Air currently operates three flights a week to Hong Kong, operated by Airbus A320-200 aircraft. HAECO supports the airline by providing technical transit and aircraft release services. Starting from 1 February 2015, Vanilla Air will operate daily flights to Hong Kong and it will increase this service to twice daily from 21 February.
