In July, HAECO completed a Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) modification on a Boeing 777-200 aircraft (N777UA) for United Airlines (UA).

During the course of the GFI modification, an extra layer of protection is added to avoid possible sources of ignition in the fuel tank caused by electrical faults in the main tank boost pumps. This upgrade demonstrates UA’s continued commitment to aircraft safety. HAECO will perform this upgrade on all of UA’s Boeing 777 aircraft.
