With HAECO Group undergoing a rebranding programme across different locations in the world, HAECO Hong Kong staff uniforms are due for gradual replacement. To give a second life to these soon-to-be disposed of uniforms, which are made of durable cotton and canvas material, HAECO Hong Kong will support a meaningful “upcycling” programme initiated by the Swire group and the Low-carbon Ambassadors Programme (LAMP) from Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU).

HAECO Hong Kong will donate 300 second-hand staff uniforms to the low-carbon student ambassadors from HKBU, who plan to turn our technicians’ and engineers’ protective work-wear into tote bags, over-sleeves and pencil cases; the remanufactured products will be donated to the children in need and the underprivileged.
