In October, Taikoo (Shandong) Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd. (STAECO) redelivered a Bombardier Dash 8 Q400 (DHC-8-400) aircraft to customer, Japan Air Commuter (JAC), after performing a 6C maintenance check on the aircraft; it was the first time STAECO had serviced this particular aircraft type.

“Despite complications, STAECO completed the heavy maintenance work and delivered the aircraft on schedule; we appreciate STAECO’s remarkable efforts and look forward to enhancing the JAC / STAECO business partnership in the future,” said Mr. Hiyoshi, Vice President of JAC.

STAECO has been developing DHC-8-400 capability since 2012. The company was officially authorised by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) to conduct maintenance checks on the DHC-8-400 in July 2015.
