In April, the first Airbus A321 aircraft assembled in the United States was delivered to JetBlue Airways from the new Airbus facility in Mobile, Alabama. New York-based JetBlue contracted HAECO Americas’ Lake City location, an Airbus Centre of Excellence, to install Wi-Fi and IFE on the aircraft prior to entering service. A celebration event was held at the Airbus facility in Mobile, to commemorate the delivery of the new aircraft, which has been named “BluesMobile”.
