Austrian Airlines commissioned the HAECO Group to undertake scheduled maintenance checks on its entire Boeing 777 fleet over the winter season 2016-17.

Leveraging the HAECO Group’s wide geographical reach, these maintenance services on the five Boeing 777s were carried out at two different HAECO facilities. HAECO Hong Kong performed 15-month/6,000 flight-hour checks on three of the aircraft, two of which were also fitted with Aircraft Information Management System 2 (AIMS-2), while HAECO Xiamen performed C-checks on the remaining two aircraft. All of the aircraft were redelivered to the customer before the end of March.

The HAECO/Austrian Airlines business relationship began back in 2015 and to date, the HAECO Group has completed eight work packages for the airline, covering scheduled maintenance checks, AIM-2 installation and crew rest area modifications.
