Base Maintenance
Growing co-operation
ISSUE 28
Dec 2017

Solaseed Air, a low-cost carrier based in Miyazaki in Japan, has commissioned STAECO to undertake scheduled maintenance checks on its seven Boeing 737-800 aircraft from January 2018 to March 2019. Mr Katsunori Shimazaki, Solaseed’s General Manager, Maintenance Planning & Administration, visited STAECO in August and signed a Letter of Intent with Steven Yang, STAECO’s Vice President, Marketing.

The business partnership between STAECO and Solaseed Air began in 2006 and to date, STAECO has completed scheduled maintenance checks over 70 aircraft for the airline. As Solaseed Air is planning to operate flights between Japan and Mainland China, the two companies are looking forward to strengthening this co-operation in the future.
