In September, HAECO Xiamen launched its new Visitor Centre, coinciding with the BRICS Summit, attended by heads of state from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The Visitor Centre showcases HAECO Xiamen’s core capabilities, and traces the development of Xiamen’s aircraft engineering and maintenance industry through a variety of interactive displays, virtual reality experiences, historic photographs, aircraft models and mock-ups. Highlights include the full-sized Airbus ACJ318 mock-up, which demonstrates the capabilities of HAECO Xiamen as the first and only Airbus-approved and Boeing-licensed cabin completion centre in the Asia Pacific region to provide turnkey design engineering, certification and cabin completion solutions for private jets. Another prominent display is the 3D-printed Airbus ACJ320 model, independently designed and produced by the private jet cabin completion centre, and featuring the "Zen" cabin design concept.

During the BRICS Summit, the Visitor Centre welcomed a host of VIP, industry guests and media. The Centre was also featured in an online live broadcast by Xinhua News Agency.
