In March, Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) carried out an audit on STAECO’s Designated Modification Design Organisation Representative (DMDOR) division. In addition to reviewing STAECO’s 2017 progress report, the CAAC team performed a detailed audit of the division’s systems, including modification project management, repair approvals and continuous airworthiness documentation. STAECO fulfilled all the requirements and passed the audit with flying colours; its DMDOR division will follow the guidance and recommendations from CAAC and continue to enhance its design engineering capabilities.
