In January, the HAECO ITM team took part in “The 26th Green Power Hike”, an annual hiking event organised by Green Power. The HAECO ITM team of three - supported by nine other staff members - successfully completed the 25-kilometre trail from Tai Tam Country Park to Big Wave Bay, raising a total of HK$12,000. The funds raised through the event will be used in Green Power’s environmental education programmes.
Green Power is a charity dedicated to promoting environmental education in Hong Kong and the Green Power Hike is one of its signature fundraising events, taking place every January or February, and attracting over 3,000 participants every year.
