In March, HAECO Hong Kong hosted the 2019 Taikoo Cup Basketball Competition in Zhuhai. The annual competition brings together different teams from around the Swire group’s aviation division, as well as a guest team from the aviation industry. It provides an opportunity for participants to demonstrate sportsmanship, team spirit and friendship.

This year, participating companies included HAECO Hong Kong, HAECO Xiamen, STAECO and MTU Maintenance Zhuhai Company Limited. After an exciting and intense competition, HAECO Hong Kong won the championship, while STAECO took the runner-up award. Putting competition and work aside, the teams enjoyed the chance to socialise with their long-term business partners.

The next competition will be hosted by HAECO Xiamen in 2020.
