On 27 May, HAECO Engine Services (Xiamen) welcomed a delegation from AVIAGE Systems, a joint venture between General Electric Company and Aviation Industry Corporation of China Ltd. The 34 representatives were led by Mr George Chang, CEO and President of AVIAGE Systems, and were warmly received by Simon Smith, Director and General Manager of HAECO Engine Services (Xiamen).

During the visit, Simon and his team took the delegation through the engine MRO’s daily routine operations and shared valuable insights and experiences gleaned over more than a decade of operations. Best practices include HAECO Engine Services (Xiamen)’s continuous investment in new capabilities, technologies and business processes, in order to ensure the long-term development of the company, despite the challenges imposed by COVID-19; ensuring the MRO is well-equipped to capitalise on the eventual market upturn.

In an address to the guests, Mr Smith said that “People, Procedure and Partnership” are fundamental to the success of HAECO Engine Services (Xiamen) and added that the company looks forward to further strengthening its business partnership with AVIAGE Systems.
