In November, a Three-Runway System International Race was held in Hong Kong to celebrate the launch of the third runway system, with strong participation from different stakeholders in the aviation industry. This new runway system, launched during the same month, is expected to significantly enhance the capacity of the Hong Kong International Airport and solidify the city’s status as a global aviation hub.

Despite the rainy weather that day, the spirits of our colleagues remained high during the race. Leading the charge was HAECO Group CEO Richard Sell, who finished among the top three in the Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Leaders Cup. In addition, over 30 dedicated colleagues braved the weather alongside him in the Three-Runway System 10km International Race, demonstrating remarkable sportsmanship and unwavering team spirit.

This race not only marked the launch of the third-runway system but also provided a fantastic platform for HAECO to reaffirm its commitment to serving as a key player in the aviation community. We are incredibly proud of all our runners who participated and look forward to contributing to a bright aviation future for our Hong Kong home base with determination and pride.
