HAECO Inventory Technical Management (ITM) reached a significant milestone by successfully completing the close-loop replacement of a heat exchanger during a C-check for Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) from June to July 2023. This achievement is especially remarkable given the global shortage of spare parts, which has made aircraft maintenance more challenging.

Despite these hurdles, HAECO and NCA worked together seamlessly to remove, repair, and install the heat exchanger without impacting the turnaround time for the C-check.

In recognition of this accomplishment, the NCA management team presented HAECO ITM with the Annual Safety Award 2024 during their visit in March 2025. This award underscores the strong partnership and operational excellence demonstrated throughout the project, reinforcing HAECO’s reputation as a trusted global partner in aircraft maintenance.
